How to use The Mini Trial Kit
- Begin with the pre-shampoo rinse, applying to your scalp from hairline to crown. Massage in. Rinse well.
- Follow with the ultra-concentrated shampoo. Rinse well and repeat with conditioner.
- Finish with BioBrew™ Serum. Shake well and spray on damp hair. Massage into scalp. Comb through and style as usual.

Can I use your products on color-treated hair?
All Rootist formulas are designed to be suitable for color treated hair. We avoid harsh surfactants and stripping ingredients to help protect the longevity of color.
Which products are silicone-free?
ALL Rootist products are formulated without silicones. Why? Silicones are pervasive in conventional hair formulas because they offer a temporary fix, like a coating of plastic vinyl over a surface. That’s not our goal. We formulate for the biology and holistic health of the roots, scalp and hair.
Can I use your products if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Only your obstetrician can tell you what’s safe for you, but we are not aware of any contraindications during pregnancy or breastfeeding. None of our formulas is made with parabens, formaldehyde, chemical sunscreens, retinol, synthetic hormones or drugs, including minoxidil. If you have any specific questions, we’d recommend that you take a list of the ingredients (found on any product page) to your doctor.
